The Birth of Zarem by: Larissa

In the heart of the jungle their was a group of people called "Tribe" who is worshipping in the voodoo goddess of underworld Maman Bridgette as their Main Goddess and protector, witchcraft is not banned to them, their leader named Urkaran has a wife but they dont have a child, one time their leader went in the forest to hunt for food as he saw a beautiful lady, urkaran fall to the lady and plan to make her as his 2nd wife, everyday he visiting the lady giving food and also serenading her. As time goes by his wife Yubebe is now worried so she ask to find his husband, Maubebwe give birth to their child and named him Zarem which is equivalent to Zack in English, Yubebe saw a cabin and also saw the sword of his husband so she rush through the cabin to take a look and she saw Urkaran and Maubebwe, she cry and cry because his husband cheated on her she slap Urkaran and run away, He took the baby and follows Yubebe and said

"I dont love her, i just use her to bare our child!"

Urkaran told it to Yubebe and Maubebwe hears it she got insulted as she turn into her real form and take Yubebe's Life, years passed, Zarem grow up as a 18 years old kind, gentleman, calm, quite, sweet and caring guy, while he is outside of their house farming he hears their 2 neighbors talking about their goddess "Maman "  he feel undescribable happiness so he ask his father about her as his father said "its our Goddess " zarem said he feel happiness as he hear her name with unknown reason his das hold his hands and said,

"You are her disciple " his dad explain everything to him that his mother is not Yubebe its Maubebwe or also called as Maman Bridgette " after he knows it, he study everything about Maman Bridgette, while studying she saw a black smoke besides him from the door he follows it until he end up in the cemetery he saw a scythe near the tombstone he took it and not far from the distance he saw 7 man wearing cattle Mask, and a black long sleep medieval style cloak walking near him, he feel a little bit terrified as one of them said,

 "you will use your power in right way, reapers will take souls to the person who is about to die, you cannot kill someone, you cannot revive someone, you will just take them and guid to their final destination"

"What if i didn't? Or i accidentally do hurt someone?

"With any reason, sin is sin and their have a time that you will pay for it"

The grim reaper said as be woke up near the tombstone, he went back to their house, and choose to not to tell it to his father, He saw his uncle Nanawi with a black smoke around of this body and he remembered what the grim said to him.

"You will know if a person will die if their is a black smoke around their body, remember you cant stop what is destined to be happen " so he choose to be quite when he turn back he heared his une get heart attacked but he didnt run to help him, his body and soul get separated but his body is still standing and his soul is also wearing a cattle skull mask and a long sleeve black cloak with a scythe at his back, he face his uncle while other people in their place are helping him, the soul of his uncle got separated and Zack use the Holy rope to tied up his uncle soul, nanawi is screaming and trying his best to escape, zack use  salt to open the and throw nanawi inside and close it, he got wake up in the same position earlier, his dad went to him and said his uncle is dead and she said "i know it"  his father is shock and look around and bring him inside the house,

"What are you saying?"

"Dad im a grim reaper"

"Well.. I.. I know this will happen but don't  tell it to anyone, its either they wont believe you or they will hurt you"

2days after his friend Uyawi went to him Uyawi is very kind and beautiful young lady while they are talking "Bruno" the one who have a feelings for Uyawi, went to them with 4 of his other friends Bruno grab Uyawi and punch Zarem as he warned him.

"Dont ever try to flirt with her she's my girlfriend!"

Zarem saw a white smoke to him means he wont die this time but he saw his friend Kumir has a black smoke and he smirk

"One of your friend will die"

"What?, no, the one who will die here is you"

Bruno command the 4 to hold Zarem and Bruno give him multiple Punches  uyawi is stoping them but Kumir hold Uyawi

"Kumir will die in sickness!"

Zarem yells as Kumir is begun to cough blood and faint, he think Bruno will have a black smoke as he open his eyes bruno have a black smoke as what he wish and he also cough blood. 2 other guy attempt to stab him but Zack's soul got separated and turn facing them  as it scream Monstrously and went back that 2 guy is about to run but zack is in their back he slashes them with his scythe, Uyawi got scared and run, he choose to do his punishment to guard the cemetery and soon they called him "Zarem the Reaper"
